Up for sale is a vintage letter opener marked "Victor J.Evans & Co Patent Attorneys Main Office Victor Bldg. Washington DC" on one side and "Branch Offices New York - Philadelphia - Pittsburgh - Chicago- San Francisco" on the other. Made by The J.E.Mergott Co Newark, NJ. The opener has wear from usage, scratches, discoloration, corrosion, and worn/missing finish. It is about 8 5/8" long overall. See photos for best description. Thanks for looking and happy bidding!
