It realizes long-time shooting and also supports USB charging via the camera body.
It is a vertical position grip exclusively for "α9" that realizes the same holdability and operability as the horizontal position even when shooting in the vertical position.
A multi-selector that allows you to quickly select a rangefinder, front and rear dials, AF on button, shutter button, etc. are arranged in the same grip shape as "α9".
You can shoot vertically as if you were shooting horizontally.
The exterior of the grip uses a magnesium alloy that achieves both weight reduction and high rigidity, similar to the "α9".
The operation buttons and dials of each part are designed to be dust-proof and drip-proof.
In addition, up to two high-capacity Z series batteries can be installed.
Since you can automatically switch to the next battery for continuous shooting, you can shoot for a long time without worrying about the remaining battery capacity.
Furthermore, it is possible to charge the two batteries in the vertical grip via the USB terminal of the main unit.
Notes
Although the structure is dust-proof and drip-proof, it does not completely prevent the intrusion of dust and water droplets.
It does not support simultaneous mounting of this unit and the lens mount adapter LA-EA2 / EA4.
If installed at the same time, the gap between the lens mount adapter and this unit will become narrower, making it difficult to hold.
