Primitive Antique 19th C Folk Art Fruitwood Carved Wood Grape Leaf Letter Opener

Up for auction is an antique turn of last century or Victorian fruitwood intricately carved grape leaf decorated letter opener recently found at auction in Lancaster County PA.  Several breaks around tip.  But still wonderful look.  Interesting grained wood, with modeling, unsure what wood. Incredibly smooth almost buttery patina.  Extremely well made.  Best guess 19th century.  Scratches, abrasions, small losses but beautiful and truly one of a kind piece.  Overall 10.25 x 1 1/8". Unsigned unmarked.
