WOW! Here is an Original Vintage Japanese Obi Sash Butterfly and Flowers. This amazing 14 foot by 12 inch obi comes in the original paper wrapper. The orange is NOT faded as it looks in the photos. It is NOT gold colored. My camera is playing tricks. The orange is dark like the non-decorated area. One end has what looks like a signature or maker’s mark. I got this from the estate of a gentleman who was stationed in Japan. While there he married a Japanese woman. From what he told me she never used this beautiful obi. It looks like it was never worn. I wish I could tell you what the writing on the paper says. I’m not even sure that I have it going the correct way! This will be shipped rolled. Please see photos for condition.
