    Description

    I just purchased a collection of Japanese obi sashes and kimonos at a local estate here in Central Virginia.  This auction is for a silk brocade obi, featuring a repeating pattern of camillas created with silver threading on a pink metallic fabric with splashes of silver throughout.  A section of the front is white satin and then the pattern continues.
    The back side of the obi has a white satin lining running the full length of 14 1/4 feet.  The obi is 12" in width.  It is in excellent condition.
    It has been folded as stored. I have little experience with these beautiful pieces of art, but am happy to a
