    Description

    This is a genuine Canon BG-E2 battery grip for EOS Cameras.
    The BG-E2 is compatible with the EOS 20D, 30D, 40D and 50D.  It provides a secure, comfortable grip for use in portrait orientation, with a second set of controls and a second shutter release.  It also allows operation with a second BP-511 (and newer versions) battery to allow for longer shooting before a battery change.  You may also experience improved focusing performance.
    Also included are two Powerextra BP-511A equivalent batteries (7.4V, 2200 mAH).  These are less than four months old.  Both have been charged once, but the one on the right in the photo has not even been installed in a camera, the other has been charged but not even run through a full cycle.  Lots and lots of life left.
    A bonus
    is that I have included the terminal covers as well (which these did not come with), so they'll be safe in your camera bag.
    The charger is a generic model, compatible with Canon BP-511, BP-512, BP-522, BP-535 batteries and perhaps others.  It charged these batteries as well as a new OE Canon battery that I had just fine.  It mainly operates as a plug-in charger via the flip-out plug on the back.  A separate (not included) 12V power supply can be used.
    A lot of these grip kits have seen hard service; this one has been very gently used, and the batteries are essentially new.
